McDuffie Coal Terminal Dock 1 Expansion
CMG provided design services for the Dock 1 Expansion at the Alabama State Port Authority, McDuffie Coal Terminal. The expansion included the procurement/relocation/modification of a 6000 tph Dravo Stacker Reclaimer from Terminal 5, Port of Portland. The project also included a barge loader, a unit train loadout station capable of loading a unit train in less than 4 hours and over 4000 linear feet of 72" belt conveyors. The project also utilized over 100 tons of recycled structural steel from the abandoned DRI facility.
